Random

So I have so many random thoughts bouncing around in my head right now I've decided just to do a random bulleted post.

* I always want to do a post without pictures, it seems so serious and professional, however I've decided that I'm more of a photojournalist and my posts will always have pictures.

* When I can't sleep at night or am up with Emma Claire I write out blog posts in my head to try and go to sleep...this one included.

* Emma Claire went to visit the Easter Bunny yesterday. I was SO nervous, she hasn't liked strangers lately. At. All. But she was smiling SO BIG. I was shocked. I guess large bunnies don't count as strangers?

* While I was staring at my child in shock that she was smiling on the huge bunny's lap I didn't notice the creepy men taking pictures of her. Thankfully the lady working the register did and approached them asking if they were with us, they were not. When she told us about it the hubs decided to follow them and have a little chat. Needless to say they will NOT be going back to the Easter Bunny area in the mall. Creepy, right??

* I FINALLY got a good picture of Emma Claire smiling with me. I only had one before yesterday, so I get SO excited when she smiles with me. Usually she just has a blank stare on her face! And yes, she is grabbing my shirt and hair and has a huge drool drip running down her chin, but I don't care. I love it anyways.

* I have recently become face book friends with a bunch of y'all and it just makes me so happy. Being so young I am one of a few of my "real life" friends that has a baby. It's wonderful to be able to connect with other mommies in another way.

* On that note, I totally wish we could all get our sweet babies together for a play date. I can almost picture it! We are planning a beach play date with Miss Raleigh Grace for this summer. I. Can't. Wait. There isn't anything cuter than a baby at the beach, except TWO babies at the beach!

* Teething has not been our friend lately, our sleep is just completely messed up. I hope those little chompers pop through soon! Last night Emma Claire decided she just wanted to be awake from 1am-4am! I'm thankful that she isn't fussy when she's up but Mommy doesn't want to play at 2:30am! ha!

* We have started our super intense budget this month, thanks Dave Ramsey! And yesterday the Hubs and I were talking about how fun a budget is at the beginning of the month because you are excited about how much money you are going to save blah blah blah. It's not nearly as fun as you move through the month and realize you can't just frivolously spend money anymore. I am so glad we have this budget though and am excited to start seeing results!

* Emma Claire has started rolling CONSTANTLY. If I put her on her tummy she will flip to her back, if I put her on her back she will flip to her tummy!

* I feel like each day Emma Claire gets more expressive and sassy. I love it. Her personality is so fun.

* Last night the Hubs and I sat on the porch and relaxed after putting EC to bed. It was just so nice to use our new living space and get to relax outside.

* A few days ago I got to email Kelly Stamps about a giveaway I won and I was completely star struck. She is a total celebrity to me and I just love her. Seriously, I was talking with Allie and she said "I want my blog to be like hers when it grows up." Isn't that the truth? I think we all feel like that! She is just such a great role model and sweet person all around.

Random posts are the best. :)

That is one HUGE bunny...and seriously your husband spoke with the men? What did he say to them? Creepy for sure!

Totally creepy. Were they from america. I only ask because my step brothers daughter has blonde hair and blue eyes and when they lived over seas people always asked to take her picture...especially in asian cultures. They said it was because she looked like an angel.

I hope that your husband destroyed the pictures. You have to be very careful with anyone else taking pictures of your kids today. People will photoshop all kinds of images and even sell the pictures to networks of others. One picture can so easily be multiplied on for anyone to then have that image.

I blog in my head, too. A lot.

The bunny pic is adorable, but I think the bunny looks kind of sad? Good thing Emma Claire is happy enough for both of them :-).

UGH... creepy people need to go away!

Love the photo of you and EC. Your matching shirts are so cute!

I blog in my head all the time! And that is super creepy about the mall guys! We do Dave ramsey too, and have for about a year and a half. After a while you just get used to putting all your money towards paying everything off and don't think about it. But it does feel awful at first

I thought I was the only one that blogged in my head. From looking at the comments on this post, I'm completely normal :)

Love the bunny story but geeze the creepy men story is just awful. What is wrong with people these days?

Hope you and your little one have an awesome Easter!

LOVE the pics of EC with the bunny and you!! I get SUPER excited for big smiles too!! Olivia could have food all over her face and I wouldn't care :)

I like to include pics with all of my posts too!! I've only done a couple posts without pics. I also have done "blog posts" in my head at night! I guess that is the best time to think? haha
