During the fall one of my very favorite tricks to making my house smell great is boiling cinnamon and clove on the stove top. It's easy, quick, and guarantees that anyone who comes over to your house will think it smells wonderful. Lately I have wanted something that would have the same effect. The other day on pinterest I saw a "recipe" for a springy stove top simmer. It's super simple! Just some rosemary, lemon, and vanilla.
I have a rosemary plant in the backyard so I just grabbed a few leaves to drop in. I think next time I'll dice the leaves so it will be more aromatic, I couldn't really smell the rosemary. I did love the vanilla and lemon smell.
While I still love the smell that cinnamon and clove gives off, this is a nice change and perfect while you are spring cleaning!

Ohhh! I want to try this!
Yum! I have been so in the mood for spring fragrances lately! I Just bought a bunch of new scentsy scents and while I'm waiting for them I've been melting my fresh laundry one. Love the fresh spring smells!
Dear Pinterest,
Thank you for allowing Mallorie to find this splendid "doesn't-my-house-smell-fresh?" recipe.
I hope it covers up the smell of dog.
Lovingly,
The girl who said she's never join your site...but caved
I tried this with oranges (because that's what I had on hand), and it smelled GREAT! Thanks for the idea!
This is such a great idea! My mom always does the cinnamon and clove one--but I don't think she has a summertime one! I can't wait to try it. :)
