Future Mary Lou Retton?

Today Emma Claire has officially been out in the world as long as she was in my belly! That's right we have a NINE month old! And today we had a big day! Emma Claire went to her very first gymnastics class. Who knows...maybe she's the next Mary Lou ;-)

She didn't know what she was excited for but she was ready to go!

Baby pull-ups! I still can't get over how strong she is.

Hmm...maybe gymnastics won't be her specialty. Here she is up in relevé...future ballerina?

Love this face.

She really had a great time and so did the hubs and I. Today was his day off so he got to come too! He was the only Daddy at baby gymnastics! Emma Claire loved being with all of the other babies and had so much fun crawling around with them. She even let the instructor use her as an example baby. My favorite memory from today happened at the end of the class. Our instructor got out the bubbles and came around and blew bubbles on each baby. Well Emma Claire figured out pretty quick that the bubbles were all being blown into the corner of the room {by the air ducts} so she crawled over to where the bubbles were floating and camped out. She waited for the bubbles to float over to her. Smart cookie. Everyone in the room was cracking up at how observant she was!

This next picture may not mean anything to most of you...but this was a HUGE deal in our little world.

Emma Claire rode around in the buggy WITHOUT her seat cover.

The seat cover was in the wash and we needed some things from the grocery so we just had to go with it. Now I know most people don't use cart covers but I'm somewhat of a germaphobe so this was a big deal! In true Mallorie fashion we had to get a picture {or ten} to document this "momentous occasion" ha!

The other big event that took place today was that we turned our keys in for our other house! We had a final walk through with the owners and we are officially DONE with that house. I haven't shared a lot about that situation but even after moving into our home we had a lot of things left to do at the other house. I am so glad that I can say that we don't ever have to go back there and can now focus all of our spare time and energy on OUR house!

"As much time as you put into it, that's what your achievements are going to be when you come out of it." Mary Lou Retton

Little gym? We went to one of their classes but it was way too structured for G. She was all over the place. She starts real gymnastics in 4 months!

That is such a good idea. I live in New Jersey and I need to find something like that for my twins.

I LOVE that EC is in baby gymnastics! It's just too precious for words! I feel you on the cart cover! We always used ours but I didn't bring it when came home because it's too big to pack. E has ridden in all kinds of carts without a cover now. I just figure the germs will help build up her immunity! Haha! :)
