Friday Funnies

I feel like our house has been filled with laughter lately, which just makes me so happy. Our home has always been happy but now that Emma Claire is cracking me up on a daily basis we have such a joyful atmosphere.

I thought that today I would share some of our funnier moments from the past few days.

I dressed EC up in a little daisy outfit a few days ago and she looked just precious.

However two seconds after that first picture was taken she proceeded to have the hissy fit of the week for NO reason!

So what do I do? Snap away...there's nothing like a well documented pouty face!

Just pitiful, I tell you.

Okay this is one of the funnier moments of our week. I was picking out cantaloupes at the grocery when I noticed EC was jumping up and down in the seat. Then when I asked her if she liked the cantaloupes she started CRACKING UP. It was hilarious. She giggled and giggled, I just wish I had someone else with me to video tape her reaction. Priceless!

Pigtails. Again. Because I just can't get enough of them. And if this little graham cracker and peanut butter covered face doesn't make you smile I don't know what will!

I know you can't see her face but let me assure you she is squealing. Watching the dogs do their business is the highlight of little miss' day. She thinks they are hilarious. Especially when watching them through the backdoor!

Another pout sesh. This was after mommy let someone play a liiiiitle too long and postponed bedtime longer than usual. Can you tell?  {The top right is my fav, such a little drama queen already. I love it.}

If only you could have seen what I was doing to get her to smile like this. I was holding Gracie in one arm, the camera with the other and jumping up and down. Emma Claire thought that was the FUNNIEST thing. So naturally this went on for five minutes. Poor Gracie, and poor momma's back!

On a heavier note my thoughts and prayers are going out to the community of Aurora, Colorado. I still cannot believe that someone could go into a movie theater and open fire like that. I am praying that the families of those who were killed or wounded get the justice they deserve, and that the surviving victims heal both emotionally and physically.

"Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress; he sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from destruction. Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wonderful works to humankind." Psalm 107:19-21

The Colorado massacre is awful - I can't stop thinking about it.

Love the pouty faces, she has such a cute pouty face! haha

I can't believe what happened in Colorado either! I went to the midnight premiere last night, and there were some cops around which I thought was kind of strange, but now that I think back, I'm thankful for it.

I love how she's sticking out her little lip in one of the top pictures! I know it won't be cute when they're older but I think the little fits are precious right now! I'm still in shock about the shooting. It's a scary world we live in these days!
