Today was a very exciting day at our house! The weather was FINALLY warm enough to break out the baby pool! I think I was more excited than Emma Claire!
Okay, seriously...how CUTE is this???
So funny side story...I'm pretty convinced that Allie, one of my bloggy bff's, is also my long lost twin. We both went to Baylor, were in the same sorority (a few pledge classes apart), and both studied Elementary Education/were teachers! She has a little girl, Raleigh Grace, who is two weeks older than Emma Claire. We CONSTANTLY are doing the same thing/buying the same things/having the same experiences with our babies...the list goes on and on. Well today I became even more convinced that we are pretty much the same person. Here is a picture that her husband took of Raleigh Grace this afternoon.
Can you believe it?! Same chair and bathing suit...no joke. It's almost creepy, but I love it! This just made my afternoon. The only thing better than a cute baby in a bathing suit is TWO cute babies in matching bathing suits!
Okay, back to our afternoon! The hubs blew up the pool and we filled it with a few inches of water. We were all set!
She loved it. No hesitation, she just started splashing and playing in the water. Houston, we have a water baby! I cannot wait to get her in a real swimming pool!

I love the way she looks at her Daddy. Such adoration. And her hair puff. I can't get enough of that puffy little head of hair.
Before she got out we let her lay in the water and splash. She LOVED that! I think it was her favorite part.
Oh I love that sweet little face. I still cannot believe that she is MINE!
Today was so much fun, I can't wait to do this ALL summer long! She also got a new bikini today...it's red, polka dotted, and has ruffles. Love love love.

So cute...and that is so crazy about your friend and her baby - they even both had a headband/bow on! So funny! I am also impressed at what a good sitter Emma Claire seems to be!
She is PRECIOUS!! I hope she is a water baby! She looks adorable in her bathing suit. We just bought a red chair like that for G today!
Loooove how bright her swim suit and pool are! It is all so pink and girly!!
....and blue and green and yellow. But whatever! It must be the florals then but it all just screams sweet little girl to me! :)
The 'twin' babies are too much! You are so lucky it is warm enough to splash in the water, we definitely miss that about living in Monterey. I cant wait to get back to the east coast this summer and let our boys play in the water!

SO fun that she likes the water. My oldest CRIED the first time we put him in a real pool. Maybe it was too cold?
Hopefully EC will love a big pool just as much as she does in these pics.
