Name Game

A while back I posted about our journey to finding the perfect name for our sweet little girl. {You can read about that HEREWell I just realized I never announced what we decided to do! We have made the decision that her name will be...

Emma Claire Elizabeth

Emma Claire will be her "official" first name, with Elizabeth as her middle name! Due to privacy and security issues I'm not sharing our last name but I will give you the initial! Because what good is a baby name post without showing off her monogram!!! ;-)

The Hubster picked Elizabeth as her middle name, and I like the flow of the whole name. Yes, it is a big name but I'm pretty sure she'll be able to handle it! ;-) I'm excited about our decision and hope that having Emma Claire as her first name when we register her for school will cut down on any confusion. I know with double names there will always be people who don't get it and that's okay! Thank you to everyone for all of your suggestions and input! We really appreciate it!

In other baby news...the nursery is getting SO CLOSE! We only have a few things left to do...

- Hang Curtains
- Put up shelf and a few more items on the wall
- Paint bookshelves
- Hang bookshelves

THAT'S IT! I cannot wait for it all to be done! I'm so excited! And I'm even more excited to share the room with you all!

Love her name. Mine & Kaylee's middle name is Elizabeth too. It's also my moms middle name, its one of those past down middle names.

It's absolutely beautiful (that goes for the name and art!) and I feel the teenciest (apparently my iPhone thinks that's not a real word - haha) bit special that I already knew. ;)

You are killing me with suspense. I'm practically as excited as you for the nursery to be finished. It's going to be major eye candy.

Beautiful! My middle sister's name is Elizabeth. I have always liked that name. It flows great with EC too.

My granddaughter is Kendall Elizabeth so you know I love that name. My mother in law went by a double name, Saramina. Her mom ran the names together so that everyone would call her Saramina. She did not have a middle name. Looking forward to the unveiling of the nursery!!
