Fall Fun

Last weekend-apple picking, this weekend-fall fun on the farm! The Hubster and I traveled out to a local farm with friends and had a blast! The farm was reeeeeeally kid friendly, let's just say it's good that one of us is about to have a kiddo ;-)

We got free cider and apples!

Typical "commercial" shot! My cute model of a Husband enjoying the cider!

There were lots of fun cutouts to pose with. The girls naturally went with the Cinderella carriage!

And the boys chose the flower...aren't they cute?

Can we talk about how my belly now SITS on my lap when I sit down!!! Someone is getting quite big in there!!!
There were LOTS of farm animals...

Jenell was really excited about the baby cows!

Slides are fun for everyone :-) Especially those of us who are big kids at heart!

The corn "maze"...it was more of a corn path...I can't wait to take Emma Claire next year! It is perfect for little ones!

We were told we got our own "Patch Pumpkin" with admission...We did not think THIS is what they meant. Ha! I thought we were going to pick our own out of a pumpkin patch. The ones we got are cute, just not big enough to carve!

So we went out and bought bigger pumpkins to carve!

They worked out much better than the smaller ones!

Leah was very focused!

The finished products! Don't they look awesome?! I am so impressed!!!

Our day of pumpkin picking and carving wouldn't have been complete without Leah's AMAZING marble pumpkin cheesecake. It was DELICIOUS!

We have been so lucky to make such wonderful new friends since our move! We're trying to cram as much fun into our weekends as we can before EC makes her big debut! Words cannot describe how excited I am that the Hubster doesn't have work tomorrow! We really are soaking up our last "just us" moments!

On another note...I had a doctors appointment on Friday and it went great! Everything is looking normal and EC and I are measuring right on track. I wasn't "checked" for progression yet...that will come at 38 weeks! I have been having braxton hicks and some cramping which the doctor said was normal and was happy to hear because, "at some point in the next month we're going to want you to have LOTS of contractions to push this baby out!" ha!  I left the office Friday feeling so blessed to have found my doctor! I love the office staff and nurses as well, everyone there is just so sweet and nice! I actually look forward to my visits each week!!!

I hope you're all having a great weekend!

My exams started at 36 weeks. I've had 3 weeks of NO progress. While I know it doesn't actually matter and that I could have my baby this time tomorrow, it's discouraging to hear.

I'm not sure if we're going to carve pumpkins this year. Yours look great, though!

Evreything there is so family friendly. I totally live in the wrong city. The wrong state! Ha!

Love that baby on your lap. :) It's sooo soon! Like pretty much any moment, you'll be posting a phone pic of you in the hospital! (Been praying for you, by the way.)

Pumpkin cheesecake? Oh my. Must try that...somewhere.

I'm glad everything is looking good with EC at your doctor's appointments. I have another sonogram today to see how big this guy is and an appointment on Friday. I was 2 centimeters dilated and 70% effaced last time - we'll see how much I've progressed!

I'm SO ready to meet him!!!
