Fitness Friday

One of my lovely blog friends (and also new mommy) Cait is hosting Fitness Friday's!


 I decided that it would be fun to link up each week and track what I've been doing throughout the week to become healthier. Right now my diet is pretty dang healthy due to the elimination of dairy products. I eat plenty of fruits and veggies and we really can't eat out because of my diet restrictions. When we do eat out it's Chipotle and that's also pretty healthy!

I do want to get back into running eventually and I think this will be a great way to kick-start my exercising! Next week my goal will be to take a walk with Emma Claire and the pups whenever the weather allows! I'm going to have to figure something out for when the weather gets nasty up here that doesn't require toting myself and Emma Claire to a gym!

Yay! So glad you're joining in! :) We took Adeline's first walk today b/c the weather has been so nice...such a relaxing and fun way to get moving! Hope the weather is nice to you this coming week! Looking forward to following along on your journey!

Good luck on Week 1! I'm trying to get back into running too (8 months later!) but I haven't been very motivated. I'm hoping this challenge will help keep me accountable. I look forward to following along- I know you'll do great!

Our mall has a walking program. They have signs that tell you how many laps for a mile and such. The mall doors actually open 3-4 hours before the mall so that people can walk.

We just bought an elliptical. I want to use it but a certain someone never wants to nap or be put down. :P

Leslie Sansone has some great walking dvds that can be used at home on rainy days. I used to use them faithfully but must admit that I have been slacking lately. I need to get back to walking as well. Thanks for the encouragement!

I'm so excited to follow along! I'd really like to lose about 20 pounds this year. I am using myfitnesspal on my phone to track calories--it's pretty helpful! :)
