Hi y'all! I need your help! I got this little beauty at a flea market a couple of weeks ago and I still haven't figured out what to do with it!
It's in really good condition and appears to be from the 1930's.
This is so rare for me to not be inspired immediately after buying a piece of furniture! I knew I had to have it when I saw it, but I just can't tell what color to paint it. I have toyed with the idea of a white or cream but just haven't felt like that's the look I'm going for....any ideas out there?
Help is much appreciated!!! :-)

I would do a black undercoat with a crackle finish of a turquoise-ish blue. But that's just me :-) Or a turquoise blue undercoat with a cream crackle on top. Great find by the way! I'm always on the lookout for fun furniture to repurpose.
LOVE IT! And I agree with the other person, crackle! Can't wait to see it!
This is an old vanity, my mother had one like it, with a hugh mirror. It was a dark mahoghney. I like the idea of blue under tones with cream on top,but not the krackle. Post a picture when you finish it.
What do you think about sanding it down and staining it with a dark stain and a high gloss varnish? Adding new hardware too?
i had one like that. i took the middle out and made nite stands out of them....
