Kelly, over at Kelly's Korner, is hosting Show Us Your Life Friday: Show us Your Kid's Birthday Parties! Well I don't have any kiddo's of my own but I do know of a GREAT place to have little kids parties if you are in the DFW area! My Aunt, Doreen Bruton, owns Ride With Pride, Inc. Horsemanship School in Southlake, Texas. Ride With Pride has horseback riding lessons for kids and adults, summer camp for kids, a special buckaroo camp for the little ones, and they host BIRTHDAY PARTIES!

You can visit their website HERE to find out more information about Ride With Pride, but here's a quick synopsis...Ride With Pride has been open for 31 years and provides children with a unique opportunity to participate in farm life right in the middle of a big city. I have been lucky enough over the years to take lessons, go to summer camp, and attend parties here. I have also worked at Ride With Pride for the past seven years, all through High School and during the summers while I've been away at college. I have worked many birthday parties and let me tell you, the kids LOVE IT! I mean what little kid wouldn't love getting to have their birthday at a barn and having pony rides at their party? It's a unique party that's unlike anything else!
If this isn't a picturesque backdrop for a pretty pink party...I don't know what is! :-)
After the pony rides, the kiddo's get to head up to the porch to continue the festivities!
My Aunt was recently featured on the WFAA Good Morning Texas where she spoke about her Buckaroo Camps which are GREAT for the little ones! :-) CLICK HERE to watch the clip! I HIGHLY recommend Ride With Pride for all of your child's entertainment needs. Whether it's summer camp, horseback riding lessons, or a birthday party they will have a blast! I truly feel that kids these days play their video games too often and don't get outside enough. Ride With Pride allows kids to put down the video games, pick up the reins and hop in the saddle to experience something that will change their lives forever. At Ride With Pride, kid's don't just learn how to ride a horse, they learn much more.

If I weren't a 24 hour car drive away, I'd totally have my daughter's 8th bday there (that was a scary mommy feeling typing "8th".) ;) My daughter loves horses!
