Giveaway Sneak Peek!

Hey y'all...I've decided to do a little sneak peek of my first giveaway! See if you can figure out what it is!!! :-)

Stay tuned for the official giveaway post and instructions on how to win!!!

The Bigger The Bow...

So as most of you know I went bow crazy this summer making more bows for Emma Claire than she will probably ever need. :-) But you know what they say...

HA! Totally kidding...sort of ;-)

Anyways....after creating quite the bow collection for my little munchkin I knew I needed a way to store them. First I looked around to buy one and then I decided that I could just MAKE one, I did make the bows after all ;-) I decided that I wanted something that would be cute and practical, so I decided to re-purpose an old frame. Luckily my mom had the perfect one!

This frame was the perfect size!

After taking out the picture I set the frame up to spray paint! I used old spray paint lids to prop up the frame, this worked perfectly!

Once the frame was dry I laid it out on my parents kitchen table and set up the ribbon! I played around with a lot of different "designs" before I settled on this one. Then my mom helped me with the staple gun and we attached the ribbon. *Tip* Make sure to pull the ribbon TIGHT when you staple it! I've had to re-staple some after adding the bows.

And here's the finished product! I LOVE it! :-) Side note...do you not LOVE the chair this is sitting on?! My mom got them (it's part of a pair) at a garage sale...needless to say I had major garage sale envy of this find!

Before-After

All in all this was a SUPER simple project! I think I spent around $10 total with spray paint and ribbon. Much better than the $50 or $60 I was looking at online!

Also, I've decided on a way to store all of her bow-bands and headbands!!! Andrea, over at My Chihuahua Bites, said that she had seen people use an oatmeal container covered in scrapbook paper to store bands! GENIUS! Then I found a picture of this wonderful idea on Pinterest...of course :-)

On another note I've chosen the GIVEAWAY item!!! Be looking for that post soon, trust me...it's a good one!!! I'm so excited about it!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!!! I feel like this last week has flown by and this one is going just as fast!!! I think it's because I've been so busy getting the house in order! Don't forget to link up with Jamie at This Kind of Love and share what YOU'RE loving today!

Today I'm loving...

{One}
My Followers

I am almost to 100 followers!!! WOW! And I'm past 50,000 views!

I honestly LOVE getting each and every comment from you guys! It just makes my day, you really have no idea! Anyways, having said that...I have always wanted to do a giveaway but just haven't ever thought of anything worthy of a giveaway. So does anyone have any giveaway ideas?! I think they're so fun and I would LOVE to do one, I just can't think of what to do!

{Two}
Dixie and Gracie

Even when they DESTROY the living room ;-) To be fair I let them rip up the cardboard part of the paper towel! They were just too funny while they were playing with it.

{Three}
My new Bath and Body Works Candle

It smells SO GOOD! And right now it's buy 2 for $20! A great deal!

{Four}

 Elizabeth, over at A Wedding Story, is having a GREAT giveaway! You should go check it out!!! :-) Not to mention that I LOVE her blog and you should go visit her anyways!

{Five}
Hottie Hubs

I mean come on...how cute is this?! There pretty much isn't anything cuter (to me at least) than a soon to be Daddy putting together a crib. Other than a Daddy holding the ACTUAL baby ;-)

{Six}
Fall decorations

Just a little sneak peek at my fall wreath I made! ;-) I'll do a post about all of my fall decor soon!

{Seven}
Pregnancy Hormones and Prenatal Vitamins

Because they make my hair do THIS! I think this is the thickest my hair has ever been! Not that I had thin hair to begin with, but I just have more of it now! However, I have heard that once baby shows up it's likely to start falling out, EEK! So I'm trying to enjoy this while it lasts. Sadly it's in a ponytail most days and doesn't get all dolled up that often ;-) HA!

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!

34 Weeks

WOW 34 weeks! I feel like I say this every day but WHERE DID THE TIME GO?! I am just 3 weeks away from being full term and 6 weeks away from her due date! I've started what I'm calling "scared nesting" aka I'm freaking out that she'll come before everything is done!!! I know fall crafts don't really relate to her birth...but the house has to be cute for her arrival, right? ;-)

How Far Along: 34 Weeks

Size of Baby: 4 and 3/4 pounds and 18 inches! About the size of a honeydew melon!

Total Weight Gain: 16 pounds

Maternity Clothes: Yes

Gender: Little Lady

Movement: All. The. Time. :-) I LOVE it! Last night I was on skype with my parents and they got to see her move!!! Her movements are THAT BIG now!!! It was so cool! And I got a video of her having the hiccups!

What I Miss: Being comfortable during sleep, bending over, not needing help putting socks and shoes one! hehe

Cravings: Hmm...I have started drinking milk with meals. I don't think I've done that since I was a little kid! I don't really crave milk, but I have been wanting a LOT more milk lately, yay calcium! Oh and apples, granny smith to be accurate! :-)

Symptoms: My very LARGE belly, braxton hicks off and on, sore right ribs (someones foot loves to hang out there!), nesting

Best Moment of The Week: Getting my replacement phone!!!

What I'm looking Forward to: Finishing up my fall decorations and all of my nursery projects! :-) And then sharing them with you!!!

Baby Bump

And just for fun, here's a little progression of the growing belly!

Pinterest Inspired Nursery Art

Today was supposed to be just for cleaning, but I took a little break to work on a project for Emma Claire's nursery. I was inspired by a pin I found on Pinterest...which is exactly how all good projects start, right? ;-)

How cute will this be framed in her room?

The Inspiration...

What did we do before Pinterest?!
