Party Time!

The Hubster's Grandparents threw a party for us the other day. It was so much fun! I was introduced to a bunch of family friends and had a great time talking and getting to know everyone. This post is VERY picture heavy, you've been warned! :-)

Here I am with the wonderful hostess! :-)

The men at the grill! :-) The Hubster, his Dad, and Grandpa.

Me with my beautiful Mother-In-Law :-)

Waiting for the food to be ready with the Father-In-Law!

Along with family and friends there was a ton of great FOOD! It wouldn't be a true southern party without that! Try not to drool as you look at the pictures...I'm starting to get hungry just writing this!!!

We started the night off right with my favorites..Boiled Peanuts!

Tomato's and cucumbers soaked in vinegar...wonderful.
Some black-eyed peas and butter beans.

Another one of my favorites...Granny's Macaroni and Cheese!

The sweetest corn on the cob I've ever had!
My favorite vegetable of all time, OKRA...and no one cooks it like Granny does. It's my all time favorite!
Grilled chicken!

Now...time for the dessert... :-)

We made milk and white chocolate covered strawberries! Yum!
Banana Pudding!
The famous peach trifle that I talked about in a previous post! :-) It is just wonderful!

Doesn't this make your mouth water? It is SO GOOD! I wish I had some to eat right now....

Are you hungry yet? :-)

One of the best things about summer time is all the fresh vegetables out of the garden!!
