A few days ago something came in the mail that I have wanted for a VERY long time...
My 50mm lens!
I have wanted one of these for a long time and when my kit lens bit the dust I decided to go ahead and get the 50mm. So far I LOVE it! It came during nap time so as soon as my beautiful subject woke up I started snapping away. She was a tad sleepy still but that was fine by me! Side note: I personally feel like she looks so OLD in this first picture. More kid like than baby like.
I love every picture I take of Emma Claire but I'm especially loving these pictures taken with the new lens. They are so crisp and clear, I can't stop using it! I took 200 pictures just in the first few hours after getting it. I am looking forward to finishing up her nine month pictures with it soon!

Yay for your new lens! Once I got the 50 I feel like my photos improved 100 percent! I rarely use any other lenses anymore because I just love the pictures it takes! Congrats on your new toy! :) And I love all of the sweet pictures of EC. Such a cutie!!
Love these pictures. I broke my kit lens over a year ago and had to buy a new one and I thought about getting the 50 but didn't...maybe my birthday or christmas!
Love! The 50mm is the best lens. I just love it. It's perfect for inside low light situations. Bump up the ISO, slow down your shutter, open the lens super wide, steady your hands and snap away! Perfection!
