Well we made it nine whole months without Emma Claire getting sick. Like I mentioned in my blog post Friday our healthy streak has ended. {Thank you for all the well wishes!} Friday she started running a fever and was just so pitiful. After the somewhat comical phone conversation with the doctor's office it was decided that if she was still running a fever Monday then I would bring her in. Well when she woke up Saturday morning and after having several doses of Tylenol she was still running a fever of 102. I decided I wanted to take her in just to rule out an ear infection. I love our pediatricians office and the fact that they are open on Saturday. There are three doctors and I had seen all but one and he's who we saw Saturday morning. He was great and ruled out an ear infection and figured that she just had a virus.
So here's a little bit of what we've been up to this sickey weekend.
{Saturday}
Precious baby before her doctors appointment Saturday morning.
I stopped by CVS on the way home. If this doesn't scream "I have a sick baby" I don't know what does ;-)
Oh...and for the first time ever I didn't get carded buying wine! I guess I'm starting to show my age...ha!
After some Motrin she was finally able to sleep.
Praise the lord for dogs. I feel like they were the only ones who could get her to smile!
Oh I love this picture so much. The eyes, the lashes, the smile.
{Sunday}
For once the hubs didn't have to go in early so we were planning on going to church but that just wasn't in the cards for us this morning. EC was still quite puny and running a fever.
You know this little one is sick when she actually sits still in your lap for more than 10 seconds.
This is how we spent our afternoon. Tangled, snuggles, and pedialyte pops.
And for those of you who are wondering...Emma Claire pays attention to the first musical number of the movie and that's about it. Oh and she loves the chameleon too! He squeaks and makes noises that get her attention.
Even though we spent all weekend at home and rested she was not acting like herself this evening. She wasn't even happy at bath time tonight. It just breaks my heart to know she doesn't feel well. So here's hoping she wakes up tomorrow and is back to her happy little self!

I hope she feels better soon! And I love that picture of EC in the blanket too. She's adorable!
I am so sorry to hear that sweet EC is sick!! :( That is just the worst. And she does look just pitiful in those pictures. Poor baby girl! I hope that she feels better soon!
Poor baby girl, I hope she's feeling better. It sounds like our weekends were very similar! A sick baby and disney movies! However, since baby #2 is on the way I had to bypass the wine, sad day!
we went a LONG time without G getting sick for the first time too which was so nice. I was shocked since she is around so many germs (J and I both teach, my mom teaches, both her cousins are in school, and she goes to the church nursery plus I don't use cart or high chair covers). Viruses are the worst because you just have to wait it out. I hope she feels better soon!
Love all of the sweet pictures! Hope she feels better soon!!
Bless her heart! Hope she feels better very soon.
I hope EC is feeling better, I just about died when I saw your pictures on instagram this weekend-she is just so stinkin' precious!
