Emma Claire Nine Months

Well nine months in and nine months out! 
Emma Claire has officially been with us as long as she was growing in my tummy!

As fun as the nine months of pregnancy were I have to say that these past nine months with her have been better than I ever thought they could be.  Watching her sassy personality develop before my eyes has been a dream come true. Her ninth month has been a big one. She now has a top tooth and the biggest change of all..she is a CRAWLER! July 13th, 2012 she crawled for the first time. We also moved into our new home this month. Month nine was a big one for us!

Here's what you've been up to this month, Emma Claire.

Eating: This month you have decided that you no longer like pureed food and prefer finger foods. Some of your favorites are avocado, banana, graham crackers, veggie straws, you love peanut butter on anything, you've eaten chicken as well as scrambled eggs, peaches, kiwi, and tomato. I know there are more but I can't remember right now ;-) You have also mastered the pincer grasp and love to feed yourself...and the dogs! You have learned just how to grab your food and put your hand out to them in a way that makes it easy for the pups to grab it from your tiny little fingers. You think this is hilarious. You are still nursing. Although lately you have been getting distracted while nursing and you will push off of me and sit up in the middle of a nursing session. Also you have started to want to lay down tummy to tummy and nurse that way which is sweet.

Sleeping: Sleep, what sleep? Do I have a nine month old or a nine day old? Some nights I can't tell. As I'm writing this it's 11:30pm and bedtime was at 7:30. Since then she has been up FOUR times. She is cutting her second top tooth and really loves to try and walk everywhere so I think those are the reasons for the sleep interruption.

Firsts: You crawled for the first time on July 13th, 2012. You got your first top tooth right around then too! I got a good picture of it for the first time on July 13th as well.

Clothes: You are now in mostly 9 month clothes and a few 6-9 month clothes. Size three diapers. We will find out your exact weight at your nine month appointment but I think you're around 17 pounds.{update: 17.3lbs}

Mommy Moments: Oh there have been so many mommy moments lately. Moving with a baby is hard, moving with a mobile baby is an entirely different story! I have been putting all of my house projects pretty much on hold during the day. Instead we play, run errands, and play some more. Daddy has also been working a TON this month. Some days we only see him for about an hour. So you and I have had lots of quality time together little one and I wouldn't have it any other way.
