My parents live right around the corner from the lake, and it is so fun to be able to hop in the golf cart and ride right over to it whenever you want. Yesterday we loaded up miss Emma Claire and headed over there for a bit. It was hot and VERY windy so it was a short trip but she LOVED it!
We skipped the bow and donned a white hat for our little golf cart ride/lake trip.
She was SO excited!
The lake was so busy! And don't you just love the flag? My parents have one on either side of the golf cart. We are a very patriotic family.
The ladies. It was SO bright I'm surprised Emma Claire and I kept our eyes open!
She just LOVED the wind. Me, not so much!

This is Emma Claire's favorite look lately. Big smiles and tongue out! She has even started licking me. Hilarious. I cannot get enough of it!
Texas has been so fun and I can't believe we leave to go back home in a few days! The past two weeks have FLOWN by! But I guess we kind of miss a certain guy back in Virginia ;-)
