It's official, y'all! We are HOMEOWNERS as of 11:00am this morning! We have been under contract for the last SIXTY days. It has been SO hard keeping this a secret! The real estate market up here is crazy and I didn't want to say that we found a house and then have it fall through. So for the last sixty days we have kept our lips zipped!
Last night I couldn't help myself and updated my facebook status which created quite the frenzy.
People were calling and texting me, my parents, my best friends, my little from my sorority, the hubs, and my brothers in law asking if I was pregnant!
All I have to say to that is HAHAHA. Y'all are funny.
Bottom line is that I am SO glad that I can finally share the good news and that it is official! I can't wait to share our home buying story.
And because inquiring minds want to know, here is what our house looks like from the outside!
I LOVE the red brick and shutters. I have ALWAYS wanted a red brick house, and now I have one!
One of the home's best features is right outside our back door.
We back up to a POND! I cannot tell you how excited I am about this! We have a lovely deck and I can't wait to sit out there in the evenings and enjoy our view. I am in love.
That's all for now! I will get up interior pictures tomorrow! It is in great shape but needs lots of work and the "Mallorie" touch ;-) I already have a list of projects a mile and a half long!
