On Wednesday Northern Virginia was hit by a pretty big snow storm. It even had a name, "Saturn". Which was funny to me, I had no clue that snow storms were named. We got almost eight inches of snow at our house!
When Emma Claire woke up we opened our blinds to show her the snow and she was SO excited. She kept saying "Sssss Sssss" for snow. Accompanied by pouty lips and dancing of course.
The view from our second floor. The flakes were SO big!
It was truly memorizing.
I hadn't seen snow like this anywhere except in the mountains on ski trips. This Texas girl wasn't sure what to think!
Emma Claire did what anyone does when it's snowy outside...put on her sunglasses and cowgirl boots, of course!
What our living room looked like all day long, snow outside, baby playing, and messes everywhere.
It didn't stop snowing all day. We did get out and play a bit but I didn't bring my DSLR because of the moisture. Thankfully the hubs has a lifeproof case on his iPhone. So we did get plenty of snow play pics. However, they're on his phone....and he's at work. So I will have to upload them later and do a separate playing in the snow post!

so different here...it's like in the mid 70s!
I loooove snow days, but I'll admit: I'm ready for spring!!!
We have not gotten much snow at all this winter and so we haven't played in it at all! Kind of feel bad for H. I am really not a snow person at all and am fine going without it but it would be fun to see H play in it. Love all the windows in your living room!
Saturn hit us last week too and like you, I had no idea that snow storms were ever named. Apparently I missed that! EC is so funny, love her sunglasses and cowgirl boots!
