Friday evening EC and I headed to the airport to pick up one of my besties from college, BRE! The last time we saw each other was in the fall of 2010. So needless to say she was more than ready to meet Emma Claire!
We headed out to the airport Friday night to pick Bre up. Emma Claire usually hates the car but was surprisingly good on the way to the airport.
After picking her up all of us girls headed into DC and were able to meet up with the hubs for dinner. EC and Bre were quick friends and had fun together at dinner.
Saturday morning we got up and headed into the city again to do some sight seeing. It was C-O-L-D outside. But we managed to have a blast.
We stopped in the Natural science museum first. Emma Claire LOVED the big elephant in the entrance.

After going to the museum we headed to see the FDR memorial. It's one of the few I hadn't seen. It was pretty empty so EC had the run of the place, which she loved.
She was seriously obsessed with FDR's dog, fala. She kept patting it, and hugging it, waving, and saying "hi doooog!"
She loved it so much that it was hard to get her to leave. She kept running right back to the dog.
The way to get her to leave? A ride on daddy's shoulders. She even loved on his head. It was so sweet.

Fun!!! So, H gets totally freaked and cries when Shon puts him on his shoulders. He is such a daredevil about some things but scared about others. Haha! I love you girls' red coats and skinny legs! ;)
