So I'm loving that Wednesday is now our Sunday! Although today the Hubs is working overtime :-( But it's still a good day! We're just having a relaxing morning at home before he goes to work! Here's what I'm loving today!!!

He gave this to me yesterday as a "just because" present! Back in Texas we didn't have a HomeGoods but we have one in our new town center and I am IN LOVE! If you have one near you and you haven't ever been...GO!

I feel like I need a separate "love" for my Husband as "Daddy". He's so good with Emma Claire, here they are working together on his Master's program homework. She is quite insightful and really helps him write papers ;-)

This is how floor time ends up looking at our house most days. I think two furry pups miss having all of Mommy's attention!

Bedtime Routine
I LOVE the new bedtime routine that Emma Claire and I have together. Since Daddy isn't home at bedtime she and I have some quality Mommy/Baby time together. I feed her right before bath time. Then during bath time we listen to the radio and I sing and dance around like a true performer ;-) ha! After bath time we head downstairs, I swaddle her up and then we rock while I read her the bible. I've never read the bible in its entirety (from cover to cover) and I decided that this is the perfect time in life to do so! It's a relaxing special time for the two of us and I think it will be really special when she's older to tell her that I read her the entire bible when she was a baby.

I L-O-V-E Homegoods!! We have one like 3 miles from our house (conveniently located next to the super nice Wal-mart) and I have spent way too much money there!!

Do you do a bath every night? We do one every other day but I'm not sure it helps him go to sleep any faster.
We're currently reading The Little Boys Bible Storybook. It's ~300 pages and has adorable illustrations. I think they have a Little Girl version, too.
