I first want to say thank you for all of the sweet and uplifting comments on my last post. It's so nice to hear that I'm not alone in the way I feel some days. It really does help to write it all down and get it off of my chest, and I am comforted in each one of your comments.
So one of my best bloggy friends, Gail, had a little contest that I won! She is going to edit a picture of Emma Claire for me and I cannot wait to see what she does with it!!! So in order to get a new picture for her we had a little photo shoot today! Here are a few of my favorites.
Each time we have a photo sesh I take around 200 pictures, and usually only end up with a few that I like. Since I always share the edited "picture perfect" images with you...here are some of the not so "perfect" pictures in all of their natural glory, completley un-edited...and yes they usually include a dog or spit-up, and you can really see the nice little scratch she currently has on her face.
I love each one of these pictures just as much as the edited ones. I am so glad that I take so many pictures, it's neat to go back and look at the little changes that have happened since the last photo session. These pictures also show her true personality. I have quite the sassafras on my hands and it comes out in all of these "imperfect" pictures.

I have a feeling G and EC would have A LOT to discuss in the personality department. Can't even imagine what the teenage years are going to be like...oh my!!!

oh my gosh I LOOVE BABY BUTT! :) hahah tonight right before bath time I took pics of rg's nakey butt... i could just EAT it up!! :)
EC is sooo cute and congrats on winning- I really wish EC and RG could "play!" (and of course you and I too ha!)
I seriously love all of Emma Claire's faces! I bet she is just going to have the best personality!
Ha! I just saw these! (Not at church today due to sick kiddos.) Doggies in the background? Classic...for dog owners, of course. Sasha seems to be everywhere she shouldn't be at just the wrong moment. Can I get an Amen? But, I agree...these are great moments of YOUR life that are perfect because you are the mommy! :) That sweet baby is a funny girl! Can you imagine all the funny things she'll have to say in a year or two? Lol.

She looks like she's yelling at you! I take pictures of G so hubs doesn't feel like he's missing out at work, not to mention none of our family members live nearby.
