Thoughts

I am having quite the busy week. Therefore I am just going to bullet point some of my thoughts today. My child is {for the moment} getting into who knows what entertaining herself.

- EC busted up her face pretty badly a few days ago. She fell down our front concrete steps, and was within arms reach when it happens. Accidents only take one second.  Her nose has several scabs on it. Breaks my heart.

- Blog comments pretty much make my day. But responding to them? Yeah...I'm awful at that. So, if you leave me some love just know that I got it and love you! ;-)

- I'm hosting a baby shower at my house Saturday. I also have two photoshoots that day. I'm crazy, right?

- I'm currently watching my child use our loveseat as a junglegym. Totally safe.

- EC got some fun play food at a consignment sale last weekend. Dixie has eaten both of the waffles out of the set.

- I'm back on My Fittness Pal. I've gained some weight {thanks to my vacations down south} and my pants are a tad tight. Follow me: MallorieGayle

- Speaking of trips down south, I am getting SO excited to meet miss Savannah Jane soon. I am so honored that Allie wants me to do some pictures for them!

- This weekend the husband worked both "weekend" days and went in four hours early today. It is taking me back to last summer when that was our normal life. Not a fan. But blessed to have a hard working husband.

- I've got lots of embroidery/applique designs I've done lately I need to share. They're super cute.

- I apparently have some new followers! If you're new, say hi! I would love to meet you! {I really am going to try and be better at responding to sweet comments, promise!}

- Last night I had an 18mo session with EC's buddy, Tylar. I will share a few pictures with you and you can decide just how the shoot went. And yes, I brought EC with me. I was sure that the open fields and great weather would have meant lots of fun. Apparently I was wrong.

I promise I did get some great ones. But these were just too funny not to share!

This last one of EC is my new favorite picture of her. I just love her little neck roll, her profile, her hair blowing in the wind, and the little flower in her hands. So sweet.

I'm one of the new followers! Boo, I hate when our babies fall. Kinley fell a couple of months ago really bad and I know people thought we were abusing her, that is how bad it was! Can't wait to see your embroidery/applique projects as I have a machine myself. Have a great day!

Yes. Taking 18 month pictures is almost always a waste ;)

sometimes those pics are the best ones, though ;) maybe not the ones you want to hang on your wall, but the funniest :)

I'm a new-ish follower as well! I love the picture of EC too--so very sweet! I think outtakes from photoshoots can be just as fun as the real ones. They just show real life! :)

I've been following for a while, but I don't think I've ever commented... I'm kind of bad at commenting :) I just love that last picture of EC - it's picture-perfect :) My little guy, Judah, has so many bruises and scrapes on his little knees and legs from when he falls. He never cries and always gets right back up and running... I just feel like a terrible mother when I see them!

Ah I love pictures of kids throwing fits! haha. I'm horrible but at least I am not the only one whose kid does not always behave!

When they fall and they are so little, it is so hard. My little one, Emma, fell on Halloween day when she was 2. It was so sad, she fell and hit her face on the coffee table, and split her lip wide open. Lots of snuggles and love will make it better =)

My 2 year old has turned our couch into a jungle gym too. Scares me to death!
