For some reason I am having the hardest time starting this blog post. Maybe it's the fact that it's almost midnight and we have been going all day long and I should be sleeping instead of blogging. No, that can't be it. Ha! Today Emma Claire and I got to see our guy for the first time in a week! We are used to not seeing him but usually he's leaving us and not the other way around.

Originally when I talked to Allie about coming to visit her in NC it was because my husband was supposed to have a work trip here. The original plan was that he was going to be in NC for over a week. That turned into three days. Then today after he had been in town for an hour he found out that he was being sent back home tomorrow at 8am. So that meant we got to see him tonight for a grand total of about three hours. We all went to dinner and had a great time. The girls were our entertainment of course.

We also got Allie to take some pictures of the three of us. The hubs and I matched {not on purpose} wearing navy and khakis! Too funny!
Yes your eyes are seeing that right. There was a HUGE gang of bikers {not to be confused with a biker gang} at the restaurant we went to!
I love our little trio. Sadly since he is going back home and we are still in NC it will be a few more days before we see him again.

Are you ever going home? Seems like you've been there forever! Haha! I'm glad you are having a great time. My heart hurts that you have to be away from your hubby so much. I just cannot imagine. I thought my hubs' resident schedule was bad! I'm exhausted after just a couple days of "single parenting." You are one tough cookie. I am hoping that eventually his schedule will lighten up a little so you can spend more time together! Is that even possible? Hugs to you! I would be a mess and would so not deal well with unexpected calls for him to leave. I admire your grace!!! I know you are lucky to have such a great hard working hubby but he is also lucky to have such a great hard working and supportive wife! Pats on the back to you!
