Well today was one of the best birthday's I've had in years. Even though I wasn't with the hubs I did get to celebrate with my two favorite little ladies and Allie. We had a blast running errands, shopping, and going to lunch and dinner.
When I woke up this morning a certain little lady was very excited that I was my birthday.
We got all dressed and ready to run errands.
Our first stop was to Once Upon a Child. EC got the CUTEST winter coat for only $10. How adorable is she?!
Raleigh Grace is an expert shopper already.
Shopping AND playtime? The best of both worlds.
After we did some shopping we headed to our favorite spot for lunch...Chick Fil A!
I cannot get over her TEETH! So thankful for this picture. I can't ever get her to open her mouth, I'm glad Allie can always make Emma Claire laugh.
They are starting to mimic each other. It cracks me up.
After lunch we headed to Target and EC rode in the Baby Bjorn for the first time. She loved it but is a bit heavy for this Momma's shoulders.

On the way from Target to Old Navy we got caught in a downpour. Emma Claire and Raleigh Grace thought it was hilarious.
After Old Navy we stopped in DSW and EC did a little shoe shopping.
The shoe she grabbed from the rack was actually the same color as the fish on her outfit! Fashionista already!
We also went to Sonic, Ross, and Buy Buy Baby this afternoon. Like I said it was a busy day! Our last stop of the day was at Qdoba for dinner.
Emma Claire was not interested in taking one final birthday picture with Mommy.

When I came out after putting Emma Claire down for the night Allie and her hubby surprised me with this sweet cake!
I have to give
the credit to her hubby though because he was the one who went out and
got it for me, how sweet is that? And notice the color scheme? Sic'em.
Thank you to everyone for the sweet birthday wishes. I truly had a wonderful day and am so blessed. Here's to year twenty four!

Try carrying in a MeiTai (you can find them on etsy.com if you don't want to make one yourself). BB carriers aren't good for their hips - a lot of babies starts to cry after a while in a BB carrier because it hurts. It isn't that comfortable for the carrier eather. Much more comfortable for you and EC with a Meitai, and you can even carry her on your back if you want to.
(I started with a BB carrier because I thougt it looked difficult to tie the meitai, but as I ended up not using it bc my son always started to cry and my shoulders hurt I started to look for other options. A MeiTai is perfect.)

It sounds like you and Emma Grace both enjoyed your birthday. She looks adorable in her new clothes. I buy all of my Baby Girl Clothes from Burlington Coat Factory. I was shocked by their selection the first time I was there with my Emily Rose, but the prices keep have me coming back. They have the same clothes I see at other department stores, but often they are less than half the price. We both love it.

Goodness, 24 already? Pretty sure I started following you at 22. Time flies. Glad you had a fun day...and that was very sweet of Allie and her husband. :)
