This has been quite an eventful week! We decorated for Christmas, shopped for Daddy, wrapped presents, and even hosted a Christmas party!
My sweet little lady in her Kissy Kissy PJ's :-)
Loves: HER SWING!!! HALLELUJAH! Now before naps and bedtime all it takes is to put her in the swing for 5-10 minutes and she's OUT! Then I just pick her up and transfer her to the crib or bassinet! Words cannot explain how happy this makes me! While I was loving all of the quality cuddle time we were getting these past few weeks I was missing having two free arms ;-)
Eating: Ugh...I'm going to do a post on this soon. It's better but at the same time we're still having struggles. Any Mommy who BF knows how that goes I'm sure ;-)
Sleeping: Pretty good! We're typically getting up only once a night and she's sleeping 4-5 hour stretches which Mommy appreciates! I'm pretty sure Daddy appreciates it even more because he's not getting woken up and can sleep for an extra long time!
Clothes: Some newborn and some 0-3
Fun Facts: Oh goodness...the noises this little girl makes are HILARIOUS! Earlier today I was cooking dinner and the Hubster was down on the floor with her while she played and she kept making the FUNNIEST sounds! I kept asking, "Was that her?!"!
Mommy Moments: Well it looks like someone is sensitive to dairy, SO I have overhauled my diet and am now eating even healthier than before and cut out ALL dairy! I'll discuss this more in my BF post that is soon to come...Also, I was pretty darn proud of myself for getting our tree up and decorated, presents wrapped, house cleaned/decorated AND hosting a Christmas party...all with a newborn. Although the day after no one in our house got out of PJ's ;-) We were all pooped!
Firsts: Helped host her first Christmas party ;-) We also have had our first bout of the dreaded baby acne :-( I know it will go away but it just KILLS me to look at her perfect face covered in red bumps! And it's pretty much only on one side. She got a pretty good little heat rash at the end of last week from sleeping in the crook of my arm and I'm pretty sure that's what started it.
Picture Perfect
Going to see SANTA! :-)
I love this :-)
Her yawns are pretty darn cute. The Hubs says that's his favorite thing she does :-)
"Really Mom...more pictures?"
Precious little angel.
This just cracks me up! She was cooing here but it kind of looks like she could be saying, "Ho! Ho! Ho!"
Party animal ;-) This is how Emma Claire spent most of her time at our party! And she LOVES her swing now, I'm pretty sure it's because I added the blanket her Mimi made her! Its so soft and she loves to lay on it!
And this... :-) She got a lot of attention! And sadly this is one of the only pictures I took at our party! I was too busy in the kitchen!
And now, for your viewing pleasure...the many faces of Emma Claire that I captured on my Blackberry from week seven.
What I woke up to this morning...I am SO in love with my sweet little girl :-)
I may have the most expressive baby ever! I can't get enough of her silly faces! I wish I had all of these pictures on my high quality SLR but a lot of the time I have just enough time to grab my phone to snap a picture of her face! I figure it's better than nothing! When I stop doing my weekly updates I'm going to do a phone photo dump each month because I know I'll have more fun pictures

Aww that's great that she loves her swing, it makes life so much easier. She is soooooo adorable! Happy 7 weeks miss Emma Claire
So cute! I'm glad she likes the swing - Preston's actually over it for the most part. Sometimes I can put him in there, but not like before.
Great work on the house too, LOVE the decorations and your stockings :) I see a lot of people with those!
She is just precious Mallorie!! And you are right about those swings! Lifesavers! I am so impressed at all you have accomplished this Christmas! You are super MOM!!
Am I the one who suggested the no milk thing??? My SIL did that and it worked for her. I may try it for baby #2 since we were using dairy sensitive formula and that worked for G but she just did not like/tolerate BM and her colic went away the same week I stopped giving her BM all together.
What a little doll!
I love reading your updates on your sweet baby girl! I was wondering if you could tell me how you get the text(Seven Weeks)on your photos.
You're one busy momma! Love her expressions and I can see her little whispies of hair growing. ;)
Can't imagine throwing a party with a newborn, kudos to you! And I hang out I'm my pjs all the time...but no party. Haha.
I think a phone photo dump is a great idea!
