We're half-way there! I cannot believe that! :-) Today was my 20 week appointment and everything went wonderfully! Our ultra-sound tech was amazing and she did a fantastic job! She said that little Miss Emma Claire "photographed" wonderfully, and that she rarely gets babies who show up so clear on the images! We got 11 pictures and they're all so cute, I just love that she's getting bigger and we can see her little fingers and toes. She was also very active during the sonogram and kept wiggling and sucking her thumb...I LOVE getting to watch her suck her thumb!!!
How Far Along: 20 Weeks
Size of baby: Miss Emma Claire is 6.5 in long and weighs 12 oz. (We found that out during our sonogram!) "Normal" is about 10.6oz! She's now the size of a cantaloupe! That is SO WEIRD to me! I have a little person inside of me that is the size of a CANTALOUPE! Those suckers are big!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 10 pounds! eek! I know that while pregnant you're SUPPOSED to gain weight..but it's never fun to watch the scales tip upwards! ha! :-)
Maternity Clothes: Still in the awkward stage :-(....normal clothes don't fit but maternity clothes are like tents, even the smalls :-( For now I just wear pants in a size up and wear looser fitting tops!
Gender: Still a sweet little GIRL! Here's our gender shot from today!
Movement: LOTS! I love it! I have also felt her with my hand on my belly a couple of times!!!
What I miss: Nothing really. Not pregnancy related...but I do miss the Hubster :-( I get to see him in just a few weeks though!!!
Cravings: Lately I haven't had a ton of cravings or aversions. Drinking lots of water...I can't decide if it's the 100 degree temperatures OR the baby :-) I'm guessing it's a mix of the two!
Symptoms: Not too many, I went to a friends wedding this weekend and had several late nights...I was so proud of myself! I usually go to bed around 9! ha!
Best Moment this week: Feeling her move with my hand! And the 20 week sonogram! I just love the lady who did it, she was awesome and made it such a wonderful experience!
What I'm looking forward to: Buying more baby clothes...look for a post on the beginnings of Emma Claire's wardrobe and accessories soon!!! :-) Grammie and I went shopping today!!!

That's so exciting! I cannot wait for the sonogram on Friday!
You look so cute! Do you know about bella bands? You can wear your regular pants or shorts and leave them unbuttoned and the band holds them up! I used it my whole pregnancy and loved it. That way you don't have to buy a ton of maternity pants. And since you are having her in the winter leggings will be your best friend too!
