Today over at Kelly's Korner she's hosting "Show Us Your Life Friday" and this weeks theme is "show us what you make". As you all know I don't "make" anything, but I do fix up furniture ;-) However, this post isn't about what I do...this post is dedicated to the Future Hubster's creativity! I had no idea when we first started dating that he was so creative! Recently he began making lamps out bottles. He has used wine bottles, whisky bottles, and my favorite is an antique whisky jug that's in my dining room. I have an obsession with lamps, another sign that God chose the right man for me ;-) Here are a few of his lamps. I just LOVE them!
This one is in my kitchen! It's just perfect for the little corner I have it in.

Future Hubster is one of the most prepared people I know. He is always planning for our future and constantly adds to our survival supplies. If anything catastrophic ever happened, I would be well taken care of. This is one of the big things I love about this man :-) Anyways, all of that being said...the Future Hubster loves to make bracelets out of paracord! In case of an emergency these would be taken apart and could be used to aid in survival. Each bracelet has about 8 ft. of paracord in it.
Here is one on Future Hubster's arm! He made this one today and just learned how to make a two toned bracelet.

These are really cool! My husband builds stuff. He built our girl's bunk beds, and recently has started making wooden toys.

My hubby makes those bracelets!! He uses a different kind of closure on his though. This past fall I swear he made over 100. I told him he needed to start charging folks for them and make some $$. haha
Yes. A mess. My husband makes a mess. Ha!
Nah...he's handy and comes up with cool inventions for fishing stuff, but nothing he makes for other people, etc.
Those lamps are cool! And the bracelets...genius. That is seriously so basic (as in function) and so smart at the same time! You never know how that could take off! Business op!

Hi! where did y'all find the lamp kits to make the bottles lamps?? So far i've checked hobby lobby, michaels and walmart and everyone says they don't have them but also seem to not know what I am talking about. lol. I'm desperate!!
