Things have been busy busy around our house lately. We have several big projects that have been going on at once. The biggest {and most time consuming} has been painting the kitchen cabinets. I'm not quite halfway done yet, but the angle at which I took this picture gives a pretty good representation of what it will look like when it's all done. I am loving how it completely transforms our kitchen. It's so much lighter and brighter already.
The second big project we tackled was creating an upholstered headboard. It was a major team effort and took us the better part of our weekend. But we are in LOVE with the finished project!
The headboard is HUGE. It's taller than me! And I'm excited to figure out my bedding and pillow situation. I'm going with an all white bed this time around. That way it's clean and classic and easy to change up with throw pillows if I want to add some color.
I also finally put up some of our family pictures we had taken recently. My awesome friend Sonja took some for us with my camera and I LOVE how they turned out!
And these shelves are the newest addition to our master bedroom. There is a pretty big space behind our bathroom door that is perfect for a bookshelf. However, not very practical for a bookshelf because of the door. So I decided that hanging shelves would be the best way to fill the space.
In other news I have a love/hate relationship with Emma Claire's age. One minute she is throwing a fit over the littlest thing...
And the next she is doing something so advanced and showing me that she is a big girl now and not really a baby anymore!
But I love each day with her. Fits or no fits.

Love all your projects. I would NEVER be brave enough to do all white bedding with my 3 kiddos though LOL!
I have a love/hate relationship with Ax's age too. He's so stubborn and headstrong but so smart and inquisitive!
Oh my goodness, I love the white cabinets! I hope that you let us all know how you did them and how the project was.
I am going to need a headboard like that now too...if just I can talk my husband into it.

LOVE white cabinets! I'm also debating going with white for our bedroom comforter, but keep going back and forth with it.
