It's so funny to me how this blog has evolved. I started it when the hubs and I were engaged, then soon after became newlyweds. I would blog about projects, our dogs, home decor ideas, and food. I would spend time planning each post and was always thinking about what I could blog about. I always responded to my readers comments and got so excited for each new follower I gained. {Which I still do to this day. LOVE getting new followers! Makes my day.}
Then we learned we were expecting and the blog was transformed into everything pregnancy/baby. I became a mommy blogger and was proud of it. I wrote detailed pregnancy posts, planned out Emma Claire's nursery, and continued to cook and blog recipes.
Once Emma Claire arrived I kept up with the blog and documented our lives more fervently than ever. I looked at the blog as Emma Claire's baby book and a place to write about her early life and record all of her milestones.
Now that we are entering toddler hood I've seen a major shift in my blog. I'm lucky if I get to blog a few times a week. Most posts are random, scattered, and an attempt to include pictures of all that we've done lately. I think this is partially because I choose to not sit on the computer blogging when Emma Claire is awake, and at night I have too many other things to do once the house is blissfully silent.
Now I feel like I'm just rambling, I haven't included a single picture yet, and I still don't feel if my point has been made. Ha! That's what you get for a quickie, trying to be deep, nap-time post. Basically I am just so thankful for the connections this blog has allowed me to make, the history I've been able to record, and the fact that I will always have this blog to look back on to relive the best days of my life.
How has YOUR blog evolved?
And for good measure. Here's a picture of my cutie at lunch today. Such a little ham. Covered in stickers and food. #toddlerhood

She is too cute! I think that with time everyone's blog evolves. We take breaks when needed (like all the time for my blog lol) and blog about important things in our lives at the time. I think thats what keeps new followers coming around!
I totally hear you on this! My blog has definitely been neglected lately but I think we go through seasons with blogging, just like we do in life. I always look forward to your random updates and pictures of your cutie pie!
It is definitely interesting to see how our blogs change. My started out as interior design ideas and now has nothing of the sort!
It's SO hard to consistently blog with a child. I'm not sure how some people do it if they can keep it up. Sometimes there is just NO time for that!
