Emma Claire's First Halloween

So yesterday wasn't technically Emma Claire's "first" Halloween because she was born on that day last year. BUT since we spent the day in the hospital I decided that this year was her first real Halloween

Emma Claire was an elephant this year. And you know I just had to add a big pink bow to the ensemble to make it complete!

She loved her bucket and carried it around all night!

I love this one.

The little tail on the back would swing back and forth when she walked around. Darling.

Yes you're seeing that right. DADDY WAS HOME! He actually got a day of. We were all shocked! The fact that it was on her birthday AND Halloween was a big bonus!

Emma Claire's friend Tylar (and her Momma Sonja) came over to trick or treat with us and the girls were just so cute together.

Such a sweet little strawberry!

The dogs even got dressed up and helped hand out candy!

They were THRILLED, let me tell you ;-)

After the horrible weather we have had lately it was such a nice evening for trick or treating. Emma Claire and Tylar were so cute walking up and down our street. Everyone that saw them just loved their costumes. The girls even figured out how to take candy from the bowl and put it in their buckets! Smart girls. They also thought that the neighbors scary music was fun to dance to. I just love this age, but I also can't wait to see how fun next year will be when they understand it a little better.

I hope all y'all had a fun and safe Halloween!

She looks soo cute! I love her personalized bucket too! Did you make that? If so, how do you have time to be so crafty and chase around a toddler? I haven't gotten that part down yet!

I found your blog through Pinterest and realized I recognized you from Baylor. Such a small world! I was a year or 2 behind you in elem. ed. Anyway, I was wondering where you bought this pink bow and the monogrammed ones?
