Emma Claire's First Birthday Party Celebration

Emma Claire's birthday party was so fun and we had a great time celebrating with family and friends. Both sets of Grandparents AND Aunt Paige were able to travel here to be at her party. We also had several friends over to help us celebrate. Emma Claire was such a little hostess, it's almost like she knew it was HER day. She greeted her friends and was just so excited about it all. When it was time for her smash cake it's almost like she knew it was just for her and she ate up all of the attention. She was also so interested in each one of her presents. Such a considerate birthday girl she was!

The morning of the party Emma Claire woke up at about 7:30 like normal and I brought her back to our bed to nurse her. Except this morning after she finished nursing she rolled over (she usually nurses laying on me tummy to tummy) and fell asleep. It was possibly one of the sweetest moments I have had with her. 

I wanted a picture of the party girl and I before everyone else saw her. She just looked so sweet and I wanted to enjoy every moment of her special day. 

Before the party we headed to our backyard to take a few family pictures. Paige snapped this one as we were headed down and I just love it.

I think this one is Christmas card material...considering this is one of the few times we have all been together, dressed nice, and smiling. 

Aunt Paige is the best.

When Miss Tylar arrived EC literally RAN to the front door to greet her. We were all cracking up! Such the hostess.

 We TRIED to get a picture of all three girls at the end of the party. Lets just say that did NOT go over well with them! ha!

For those of you who were wondering...I took  over 29,000 pictures of Emma Claire during her first year.

 That's an average of 81 pictures a day! ha! Everyone at the party was shocked. I was too. I knew I took a lot of pictures but didn't think it was that many!

Well there ya have it folks! I cannot believe her party has come and gone. And for that matter I still can't believe my baby is one! Time really does fly, doesn't it?
