It's so funny to me how this blog has evolved. I started it when the hubs and I were engaged, then soon after became newlyweds. I would blog about projects, our dogs, home decor ideas, and food. I would spend time planning each post and was always thinking about what I could blog about. I always responded to my readers comments and got so excited for each new follower I gained. {Which I still do to this day. LOVE getting new followers! Makes my day.}
Then we learned we were expecting and the blog was transformed into everything pregnancy/baby. I became a mommy blogger and was proud of it. I wrote detailed pregnancy posts, planned out Emma Claire's nursery, and continued to cook and blog recipes.
Once Emma Claire arrived I kept up with the blog and documented our lives more fervently than ever. I looked at the blog as Emma Claire's baby book and a place to write about her early life and record all of her milestones.
Now that we are entering toddler hood I've seen a major shift in my blog. I'm lucky if I get to blog a few times a week. Most posts are random, scattered, and an attempt to include pictures of all that we've done lately. I think this is partially because I choose to not sit on the computer blogging when Emma Claire is awake, and at night I have too many other things to do once the house is blissfully silent.
Now I feel like I'm just rambling, I haven't included a single picture yet, and I still don't feel if my point has been made. Ha! That's what you get for a quickie, trying to be deep, nap-time post. Basically I am just so thankful for the connections this blog has allowed me to make, the history I've been able to record, and the fact that I will always have this blog to look back on to relive the best days of my life.
How has YOUR blog evolved?
And for good measure. Here's a picture of my cutie at lunch today. Such a little ham. Covered in stickers and food. #toddlerhood
