So as sat here and tried to come up with a cute little title for this random post, I realized that's almost ALL I blog about lately! But that's how our lives are now a days. Random. An assortment of friends, activities, food, and fun. So here you go, another mish mash of pictures and stories.
I've been working on painting our bead board this week. It's looking so much better. Can't wait for all kitchen projects to be done. AKA cabinets.
EC has been using a little bucket to carry snacks around in these days. Pretty funny. And the dogs love following her around waiting her to share the wealth.
So do all husbands just not see laundry hampers? Or is it just mine? ha! I snapped this the other day and it still makes me laugh. Our room was perfectly clean EXCEPT for a certain someone's clothes lying on the floor.
Today EC threw her first all out toddler tantrum. In the DMV. In front of about 100 people. Complete with going limp in my arms and trying to fall on the floor. And the husband took pictures. Of course.
Do you ever just NEED fresh baked chocolate chip cookies? And by that I mean cookie dough, obviously.
Aaaaand this is what we were doing right before bedtime tonight. Totally normal, yes?

I want to eat cookie dough right now! But, I just went on a run so if I eat the cookie dough it's like, why did I even go run...ugh. decisions! ha!
I'm literally CRACKING up because of the DMV tantrum. The only reason is because Avery throws herself into limp tantrums all the time at home. We haven't really had a full out public one yet, besides bible study but some reason that doesn't really count. Oh girl, I FEEL you! The picture is just priceless. Oh Emma Claire, you and Avery may be soul sisters!
Ah toddlers - gotta love 'em!
You look so calm during her tantrum- I'm impressed! Oh, and I absolutely love cookie dough more than the actual cookies. :-)
I am going to have to agree with the other comments on here, you look so calm during her fit at the DMV. I hope I can handle outbursts like that with as much tact!
Our life is just the same, totally random! Every day brings a new adventure for sure.
My Husband NEVER uses a hamper. To come to think of it neither does my daughter. Apparently I'm the only one that can see a hamper!
Don't you just love those meltdowns. My son has one everywhere we go. Not kidding, he has the worst temper of any child I've ever saw in my life. It's quite embarrassing and these days I just try to ignore him. It seems the more attention I pay to him about them the worse he gets. I'm hoping it's a 2 year old thing and will pass with time.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your week friend!
You guys seem pretty normal to me. I am a young but unlike you have TWINS who give me double tantrums in public. Yes, my husband misses the hamper too and yes, when it is time to whine down for bed, we are spinning the girls around and laughing and giggling. My girls carry around a pail of cheerios and our dog, doesn't follow because he know they are going to drop some eventually on purpose for him. Like and comment on the twins page http://preemietwinsandme.blogspot.com/2013/01/mya-and-milani-18-months.html
Grr my husband does that all the time! He usually puts his clothes about a foot away from the laundry basket. It makes no sense to me! Hayes is working his way towards fits and I am trying to block them! haha
LOVE LOVE LOVE your dresser. I have an entire suite that was my grandmothers that is similar that I painted and put in my girls' rooms (complete with tastefully added diamonds...lol) Where did you get yours?
