Yesterday we finally had a break in the cold, dreary, weather! It was about 70 degrees and just gorgeous. We spent a bunch of time playing outside and enjoying the weather. EC got to wear one of Daddy's Lacoste polos from when he was a baby, which I thought was beyond precious. I also rolled up her jeans and she wore some cool shades. She was stylin', that's for sure.
We also explored the pond behind our house and watched all of the ducks and geese float around. Emma Claire LOVES birds right now. She signs "bird" constantly and is always looking for them in the sky. She is actually signing bird with her little right hand, in the picture below. Love that.
The hubs used my zoom lens to get some wildlife shots while we were playing outside. We have a few Canadian geese left in our pond. These two followed us around the entire time we were by the pond.
These ducks are the reason that he grabbed the zoom lens in the first place. They're Hooded Merganser ducks. He was SO excited because these specific ducks hadn't ever visited our pond before. Well, that we had noticed! I think they are neat looking little ducks!
Today the weather is warm again but not nearly as nice, it's overcast and muggy. Yesterday seriously gave me spring fever. BAD. I cannot wait for warmer weather, sunshine, playing outside every day, and I can't forget to mention the best part about springtime...YARD SALE SEASON!

What a fun day! We had a 70 degree day on Tuesday but I was down and out with a toothache so I didn't get to enjoy a single second of it. The weather is rainy, windy and cold now & looks to be like that for a bit. At least Ax got to get out though, mommy took him for awhile to her house. I sure didn't want him to miss the warm weather.
I'm ready for Spring too!!! I hadn't thought about Yard Sales yet but now you got me all excited :)
Those pictures in the swing KILL me! You need to blow one of those babies up on a canvas!
The girls got swings for their birthday! We love swinging! Hoping the weather continues to stay nice and warm so we can spend more time outside!
