On Tuesday we decided to take the little miss to see Santa. So I dolled her up in one of her Santa smocked bishops and off we went. But not without taking a few pictures before...of course!
I LOVE this dress. It is one of my favorites for sure.
Two words. Shatterproof ornaments.

While she did like sitting on Santa's lap for a little bit I'm a mean mom and held out for some tears. I was a little annoyed with the "photographer" at the mall. She wouldn't take any once she really started screaming. What's the point of crying on Santa's lap if you don't have a really good screaming picture? We may try again ;-) Side note: it was unusually warm on Tuesday hence no tights or socks with her puddle jumpers. Don't you worry though, she had her ruffle bloomers on to make up for it!

She was SO tiny last year! And yes we went to see the same Santa. We love him.
Going to see Santa is such a fun tradition. I may try and find a Santa around here that doesn't charge you an arm and a leg for pictures, or better yet find one that will let me take my OWN pictures! ;-)

The crying pictures ARE so funny! I have no idea what G is going to do this year. We shall see! My mom NEVER took us to see santa because my oldest brother cried so bad she said it was cruel...haha!
See that is what I am afraid of with my twins. I want a nice photo with Santa and I fear that they will cry and scream and that will be that. In my mind, I always think they are going to smile and be very cooperative...not at all. They are 16 months by the way.

I LOVE her bishop too! I just ordered one for Lilly and can't wait for it to arrive. It will be her first piece of smocked clothing-I am SO excited! Did you get this one from ebay?
So cute. Funny how she would only take the quote-unquote perfect picture, but you and I both know that REAL is best. Lol. Hope you can get a screaming one. Hahaha! ;)
We have a Bass Pro Shop, and they take one 4x6 for free! And, then you can purchase additional prints for a steal of $10.00!!! It beats the $20.00+ mall photos!
